Drywall and More Brick

Ok so I am a little behind, but I have plenty of pictures to make up for it. The brick work is coming along:

But more impressively the drywall is all up:
Garage, door going into the house.

Standing at the back of the sunroom.
Standing at the top of the basement stairs looking into the mud room.

Standing near the front door.

Standing at the back of the office.

Looking down the basement stairs....they have to fix that I beam.

Southeast bedroom.

And that's all the drywall! Hopefully they will start mudding it tomorrow.

Brick Day 6 and Drywall Day 2

Ok so we took a break to from cleaning to go out to the house and check the progress. Turns out they are working like crazy today. The house was so busy that by the time we tried to walk out all our doors were blocked by drywall or brick crews. We ended up going down to the basement and crawling out of the egress window.

The house is a total mess right now but the entire second floor drywall is done:

They were were probably about 80% done with the second floor, but this is the only picture I could get down there without getting in the way:

They also got our water system, breaker box (not fully hooked up or populated) and hot water heater installed as well as our gas line and water lines to the outside spigots:

And the brick masons were hard at work today as well, they got the west side of the garage finished up:

I think they are still working out there, so we will probably go out tomorrow and see what they got done. I'm expecting they will be finished with drywall.

Brick Day 5 and Drywall Day 1

Well we are hearing that our one man brick crew has grown to a whopping two. Today they worked more on the front of the house:

They also got our address stone in place:

And our drywall arrived:

This is not nearly all of it, but they were still working while we were there and I didn't want to get in their way. They actually started to install the drywall on the second floor while we were there and let me tell you what, that was impressive. There were a lot of guys up there working really hard and I didn't think it was possible to drywall that fast.

We will go back out tomorrow when we need a break from cleaning to see what kind of progress they made.
