Garage Footing Poured

Today they dug the trench and poured the concrete footing for the perimeter of the garage. This will get a single row of cinder blocks on top of it (hopefully tomorrow) which will complete the footing for the garage walls. Here is a picture from standing on top of the front porch looking to the west:

You can see that the third car stall is set slightly further back than the two car stall. Below are a few more pictures from the east side as well:

As I mentioned they should be able to lay the cinder blocks tomorrow. I would also expect that in the next couple of days our wood pack should arrive as well as our steel I-beams and such. There is another house on the cul-de-sac which is at the exact same phase of construction as us and their wood was delivered today.

Looks like we are still on track to start framing at the beginning of next week as long as the weather holds up.
