Forms and Foundation Poured

Over the last two days they pulled the forms off of the footings and built the forms to pour the foundation walls. They were able to pour the entire foundation today, here is a view from the front of the house:

This is looking inside the basement below the living room. The sunroom and kitchen are in the background:

Here you can see the concrete poured into the forms. The walls are 10 inches thick for scale:

We carved our initials into it of course:

The also started to install the drain tile:

Tomorrow they should be able to remove the forms and we will see the whole foundation exposed. After that they will waterproof it and finish with the drain tile and gravel at the base. This may happen over the weekend or early next week. The foundation needs several days to cure so it may be a little slow over the coming week. But if all goes well they will brace the foundation toward the end of next week and backfill to prepare for framing which is scheduled to begin on the 17th.
