Backfill

Today they backfilled the house which is a rough grading around the foundation. Its a little bit of a nervous time because there is a lot of force put onto the foundation and it can crack....luckily that didn't happen to us :). Here is a view from the front:

Here I am standing near the front porch looking into the foundation. We had a lot of rain yesterday and so we now have a swimming pool....

Over the next few days they should start laying the footing for the garage, more updates to come.
