Staining the Banisters

It doesn't look like much was done in the house today other than some sanding of the mud on the arch and staining the banisters:

They still need to put the poly on, but we are pretty happy with the color. I personally wanted them to be very dark, KiDahn was wanting something just slightly lighter than this. But we both think that once the house is all lit up it will look very good because it matches the kitchen cabinets well.
