Second, the house was busy today. Lets start outside where the brick is pretty much done and the sunroom looks awesome! The brick was not supposed to go all the way up in the back, the top triangle portion was supposed to be siding, but the framers made a mistake and built the roof overhang as if it was going to be brick. So it seems that instead of changing the roof, they just gave us brick....which is A OK with us. Check it out:
They also framed out the sidewalk to our porch and our front porch:
Inside they installed the linoleum in the entry off of the garage and the laundry room. This won't stick around, we just chose the option that didn't cost anything extra because we want to tile these areas ourselves:
They prepped the bathroom floors for tile and our tile was also delivered:
They also fixed the framing under the archway in the living room. It is perfect now and KiDahn is very happy with it....now they just need to put the drywall back up, re-mud and re-prime it....I have no idea why they do it this way, makes no sense at all.
And they installed the marble stone around the fireplace. This is one thing that we were unsure of in our selections because we could only look at a small piece, but we are very happy with how it turned out:
Not a bad way to round out the week. Things are really starting to come together. It is going to get really busy around the house for the next couple of weeks: Cabinets, tile, siding, paint, flooring etc.
