Cabinets, Trim and Doors Installation

Well today was the exact opposite of yesterday. They were very busy doing all the carpentry work and they were still there when we got there this evening cleaning everything up.

They installed all the cabinets in the bathrooms:

And they installed (almost) all of the cabinets in the kitchen:

As you can see in the last photo there is a cabinet missing to the left of the pantry. That one is nearly floor to ceiling and holds the double oven. It was broken during delivery and so they have to order a new one. There are also a few draw fronts that are messed up and they will replace but other than that it looks awesome and we are really happy with it.

You may also notice in the pictures that there are interior doors and trim installed. They finished this for the entire house today:

And on top of all of that, they got our posts, railings and spindles installed:

And that's it for the day. Not bad for a days work, I really didn't expect them to be able to knock out all of this stuff in one day. We talked to the crew for a while and they were very nice, most of them have been doing this for 10-20 years and it took 6 of them 10 hours to do all this...I'm impressed.

KiDahn talked to our construction manager this morning on site. From the sound of it we still have a very busy few weeks ahead. The house is only about 4 weeks away from being finished!
