Air Conditioner, Fire Place, Vents

Well, today was a little less eventful than yesterday, but there was still progress made. They installed our fireplace, and it even works:

They also put all the vent covers on the ducts and installed our exhaust fans:

They delivered all the wire shelving for the closets and pantry:

And they installed our air conditioner and tied it into the furnace in the basement:

And that is all for the day. We went into the house that's just a few days ahead of us in the schedule and had a lot done as well. They were finishing up the carpet install so I wouldn't think we would be too far behind them on that. I also got this picture of our house from their upstairs window. I haven't been able to get these pictures for a while because the houses are all locked up now or people have moved into them.

Lights!!!

Today they installed (almost) all of our lights, outlets and hooked everything up inside the main panel. It is really the first time I can take decent pictures of everything in the house because it is finally lit up properly. So....the lights are a little boring to look at, we will replace most of them, but I have a lot of pictures of the progress so far....Lets start on the outside:

There are six exterior lights, three around the garage doors, one by the front door, one by the back door and one by the service door. I didn't take pictures of all of them though because it was a muddy mess out there today.

Now for the inside. Lets start upstairs:
Master Bath.

Master Bath.

Master Bath. KiDahn and I are really not happy with how this turned out. The tile color is pretty terrible, but I guess when you try to make a whole bunch of choices without actually seeing anything at least one thing isn't going to turn out right. I'll be re-doing this as soon as I can't stand to look at it anymore....

And now onto the downstairs:

And finally, the basement. For the first time I can actually see something down there:

Upgraded the panel size and capacity, plenty of room to grow.

And that is all for today. You may notice all the little blue pieces of tape. These are to mark imperfections. Our construction manager did this as a first pass. There will be several more, including a couple passes by us.

Still not sure what is up next. But at least we will be able to see it when its done!
