Carpet, Paint and Basement Insulation

Today we got to see the finished carpet. Not sure how late those guys were there last night, but they got it done and it looks pretty good:

As you can see in that last picture they also painted our exterior door, they also pained the service door, the garage steps and they were painting all the steel brick ledges over the windows as well:

They also insulated the basement walls today:

In addition to this insulation they sprayed where the joists meet the foundation walls:

So everything is all sealed up properly and hopefully very efficient.

I also got this picture of the double oven cabinet out of the box:

It will be installed tomorrow and custom modified to make it fit the double oven and support the weight.

Also tonight we met with our realtor and signed all the closing documents for our condo. The actual closing is Friday afternoon so as of Friday evening we will no longer own the condo and will just be renting it back until we are ready to move into the new home.
